If guests want to make a little holiday of their time in the area, suggestions slightly further afield include the lovely market town of Faversham - 30mins away - which has a number of nice B&Bs and pubs, we particularly recommend the Shepherds House. Whitstable is 35mins away and has a number of boutique hotels/B&Bs (as well as great places to eat!); and Canterbury is about 40 mins away with plenty of places to stay. Also, Leeds Castle (30mins) has upmarket B&B rooms and there is a Mercure nearby
